Notice To: Rosemarie Ann Swick, mother of J.J.B., a male child, born May 10, 2025, whose whereabouts are unknown and cannot be ascertained after reasonable diligence.

You are hereby given notice that a Petition for Termination of Parental Rights has been filed in this Court by the Pike County Department of Human Resources requesting that your parental rights be terminated to J.J.B., a male child, born May 10, 2025. You are required to file an Answer with the Clerk of the Court within fourteen (14) days after the date of the last publication of this Notice or a default judgment may be entered against you. A final hearing in the case will be held on August 13, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in District Courtroom 1 at the Pike County Judicial Complex, 1318 North Three Notch Street, Troy, Alabama, to determine whether your parental rights should be terminated and to determine whether the child should be placed in the permanent legal custody of the Alabama Department of Human Resources for the purpose of adoptive planning. You may appear at that time and contest the same if you choose. Your failure to appear may result in a judgment being entered against you for the relief sought in the Petition.
